So it is Christmas Eve. And no, we don't actually celebrate the holiday here, though I find it a great excuse to take a little break, to hang out with couple of friends, or just to eat lots of sweeties. In fact, I do like the holiday atmosphere, (although it's apparently the product of capitalism), christmas songs, big trees and shining light bulbs, and some of my professors would just let us party. I remembered that James, my English writing teacher, played the 1984 TV version of A Christmas Carol in class and gave us some kind of cookies that had religious patterns on them; that was fun.
And the most enjoyable moment is to watch holiday films all night, like Love Actually (2003) and The Holiday (2006), which are two of my favorites.
or some from the top list...
Elf (2003) Scrooged (1988)
A Christmas Story (1983) Joyeux Noël (2005)
or Four Christmases (2008), maybe watching Home Alone (1990) again?
well, I do have to spend the holiday in my dorm alone anyway... at the same time, why not turn on the holiday channels from AccuRadio and listen to christmas songs all day? Happy holidays!
